This biography was very interesting - a combination of a mystery/detective story that touches on psychology, religion and politics of the late 1800s/early 1900s; and don't forget the family drama as well. The author clearly did her research and it paid off in a great book. My only criticism: I found that the author included too much information on other political figures of the time - Ezra Pound, James Joyce's daughter Lucia, etc. I found some of the basic info was helpful to set the stage/show comparisons, but i found the level of detail about these other characters boring.
