I didn't dislike it, but I did feel like I missed something from what I thought the book was going to be about. I did get some of the connecting with her past, but there were some of the parts of the book that covered some of the 1800's that I didn't feel like connected to the more present day times for me. I also listened on audiobook which made the time changes a little harder to track for me, but I know it'd be much easier if I read a paper copy.
