I loved this book. It is funny and a hilarious commentary on Japanese pop culture. Not recommended if you are pregnant and eat meat (but recommended if you're not yet pregnant and might be willing to be talked out of eating meat!).

What a teriffic author! I had previously read her later novel, "All Over Creation", which I loved. This did not disappoint! I hope she keeps on going. Warning--you may never want to eat a steak again...

This book is a bit disturbing because of the content of the story. Still it is a wonderful book, that is both extremely enjoyable and yet extremely thought provoking! Once I started reading I couldn't put it down!
