What an excellent book! I am just starting to read my bible, and this book helped me immensely with the old testament. Written in the fiction sense, but many biblical truths! I highly recommend the whole trilogy.

An excellent book--real tear jerker, have a box of kleenex ready! Leaves you wanting to know more about the characters!

Another sad book from Berg! (previously read and reviewed Range of Motion) I love how this book was told in present about happenings in the past....the demise of a seemingly perfect home in 1958. The mothers' character was amazing in the 50's with all her quirky ways of parenting. However, the story never explained the mothers point of view as to why she left.

Very unimpressed. Too much "dark details" with big words. I would recommend Out of the Corner of My Eye by Koontz though!
