One of Crusie's better novels, this one is a study of frustration or, at least, delayed gratification. Recommended.

Willig continues to hit the mark with clever plotting, interesting characters and clever prose. I like this a little better than Bk 5. Highly recommended.

A little hard to digest ...

Final book of a well-written sword and sorcery trilogy, this book ties up the loose ends and provides a satisfying conclusion. Recommended.

Full of mind-stretching ideas as are many of Wilson's novels, this story centers on Zoe -- a girl engineered to survive an inimical environment. I grew to care for Zoe and her fate, even though this felt like one of Wilson's lesser books. Still, that makes it better than most other author's efforts. Recommended.

Love these dragon books!

Soulless Alexia finds herself impossibly pregnant and the infant inconvenience causes her no end of problems. This is an excellent addition to the series and is delightfully witty on its own. Highly recommended.

Frothy and fun reading, this romance works out just the way you expect -- but not HOW you expect! Great entertainment.

A wonderful book! I've not read any of Quindlen's previous efforts but now I must. This book features terrific character development, a slowly-revealed back story, and a plot that keeps the reader guessing. There is a very rewarding feel-good ending, but not the one that is expected! Highly recommended.

Perhaps the reviews printed on the cover misled me and I expected too much, but overall I was disappointed in this book. It was well-written, but the characters did not interest me. The ending was predictable yet still somehow satisfying. Definite mixed feelings about recommending this book.

Deaver's cyber thriller.

An interesting premise and well-developed characters make this SF thriller a very enjoyable read. Although this is the first volume of a trilogy, it finishes with a flourish suitable for a standalone novel. Questions raised include issues of predestination and foreknowledge, making this a thoughtful and fascinating book. Highly recommended.

Wilson is always entertaining and while this is not his best work, it is still quite good.

In Book 2 of the series, revolution is brewing and the characters we have come to know in Book 1 are swept into greater conflicts. Wingrove displays excellent characterization and engaging prose in the entire epic series. Highly recommended.

A rip-snorting big-scale adventure about world-building and the ethics behind it. The character of Rachel is complex and satisfying and the ending is filled with hope and wonder. This is a good one.

Glorious 1970s Doonesbury strips, biting satire and laugh-out-loud funny.
