One of, if not, THE best book I've ever read. It was heartwrenching, sweet and humorous. The fact that the story is told by the dog, makes it especially heartwarming. I loved the auto racing world being part of the story too. I read it too quickly. I didn't want it to end.

A sweet story with such heartwarming content. The loyalty of Hachi breaks your heart, but also inspires.

I loved this book. If you are a fan of this genre, you'll love it. The characters drew you in and the story was moving. There were nights I couldn't put it down. I had already read The Diplomat's wife, not kknowing the stories tied in to each other. I wish I had read this one first.

I loved this book. A great story, a great mystery. I love Fern Michaels. She is an animal lover, like me. She always includes animals in her stories!

One of my favorite books ever. I loved it. The characters moved me as well as the story within the story. It didn't want it to end.

I loved this book. The story content was great. Some of the sexual content was a little more graphic than I cared for, but it did help to describe the mindset of the Oberstermfuhrer. The characters and scenery were described vividly and you could really feel what the main character was feeling. A good book to understand what horrors went on during the holocaust. Some parts were hard to read, but at the same time, I couldn't put it down.

I absolutely loved this book! I didn't want to put it down. I loved the characters. These characters made reading about the hardships of the circus in the 20s entertaining. I couldn't put it down!
