Nice continuation of the Wicked series, although not as good as Wicked or Son of a Witch. It does, however, leave me wanting more and looking forward to the next book in the series.

Great book with interesting characters and a good look at the relationships between the various characters. Enjoyable read.

Super easy read. The gimmick of the way it's written (as you read, you're not sure which "Mike" she is currently married to) made me read through it quickly. Characters are a bit cookie cutter (the bored wife, the busy husband, etc.) but she manages to make them original in the flashbacks and in the very end when they reconnect emotionally.

Although this may be viewed as a well written work, the revelation that this "memoir" was really a work of fiction made me completely unable to enjoy it. And, if you have ever had the misfortune to know and love someone with addiction problems, then you know that they would never, in a hundred years, be able to recall events from their drinking and drugging days with such clarity and specificity. The trick that Frey (apparently) tried to play on the literary community has tainted his chances of ever being taken seriously again. Which is a shame, because it's not a poorly written book.
