Boy Vampire, girl Human? Love? What more can a girl ask for?

Why I loved it...
The emotional rollar coaster was a wicked trip. Bella and Edward come full circle with an expected hopeful turn of events that we all waited for. Action packed scenes that should translate very interestingly to screen. Finally a page turner with just a few speed bumps. Compared to the rest of the series this one was the best.

Why I hated it....
Too many unanswered questions.
As much as it was refreshing to read a different point of view (Jacob Black's), it as extremely annoying to read through these heart breaking emotions and then end the story so slighted. I feel ripped off of this character. I can only hope if it becames a movie the screen play writer ammends the mistake.

Why do vampires get a happy ending? As much as I loved that these characters found their justice of being together, it just doesn't seem appropriate to gives these two a happy ending. I really expected ending this series in tears with a nice glass of wine and a tissue box....

Grant Mathews, grad student, is on a mission to discover a link of ancient texts uncovering the early life of Jesus believed to be hidden in a monastary in the Himalayas. Upon discovering them, Grant finds himself on his own self aware journey. He falls in love with the journalist Kristen and races for his life from a crazed assasin while trying to save his career.

With so many faiths brushed upon in this novel I was amazed at how well things tied up. I loved the theroy behind the philosophies intertwined with the suspenseful fiction. Great read.

Sookie is sooo my hero in this book! She survives so much crap from these ignorant men and manages always to get the last word in.

Bill is kidnapped, or is he?, and it's up to Sookie and Eric to save him. Of course the undercover work requires Sookie to be shacking it up with a Were-wolf. Eric still as relentless as ever for his affections for Sookie. Much of this book is an emotional roller coaster. On the edge of my seat, I could not put this one down. Season 3 of the HBO TV series should rock!

A conspiracy murder vomit flop. I tried so hard with this, but after 20 pages and then skipping ahead further I was so bored to tears with this. This Pendergast story went astray, and saddly I don't think I will be back.

Evangeline is a 16 year old in search of the perfect kiss. Her efforts to renew her self image are fueled by a self help book found among her mother's things and a romance novel filled with unrealistic goals. Like most of us, Evangeline falls in love with the idea from the romance novel that one perfect kiss is what she needs to start new.

The chemistry in this book seems just about right for teens. The descriptions of each kiss encounter were a delight to read. I was disappointed with the lack of development between Evangeline and Brody. I felt that there was a missed opportunity to further that relationship between characters and convey to the reader the importance of really getting to know someone, and not just through email. I enjoyed the character's self discovery at the end of this extremely quick read. This was the most important lesson of the book.

Once again, another page turner from the Skeleton Creek Series. Although not as strong as the first two books, this journey seems just as important for Ryan and Sarah. Uncovering a deeper mystery than previously thought with the crossbones, Sarah travels across the country uncovering clues left from the apostle in odd paranormal places. Loved the ride!

A good teen read, but nothing more than a tease. I loved the Divine family and every detailed scene created in this neive world. Family first drives this story, and fueled by the forbidden bad boy love that only Grace Devine can save, we are plunged into a predictable plot that has been done better on MTVs TeenWolf. I enjoyed reading this quick read. I just wish it was a little more meaty. There are nuggets of awesomeness in this....but they spiral downward into disappointment. I am still shocked at the author's decision to this ending.

Fantastic series! If you arent reading it you should be. Conrad the blood eyed mental vampire is captured by his brothers Nikkoli, Murrdock, & Sabatian Wroth. They stick him in a mansion chained and drugged hoping to return him to sanity. Their plan is to find him his vampire Bride. Neomi the prima ballerina is a ghost doomed to haunt and repeat her death in the mansion Conrad is stuck in. Conrad is so charged with others powers and memories that he appears to be the only brother that sees Neomi ghost. Conrad spends a good chunk of the book believing she is a hallucination of his dementia. When he finally confronts her, he is completely smitten. Neomi struggles to help her vampire recover, and purposely keeps him for her own pleasure.

I love this series. I think a bigger part of this book was about Neomi and her struggles as a ghost. I wish there was just a little more with Conrad. HOT & Sexy was the theme towards the end. Cole wrote a very romantic relationship. There just seemed to be a little less drama going on in this one. The first three had nonstop action. This book was slower paced with fewer scenarios.

I can't love this. I want to, but I just can't get past Anya (a minor God) and how drawn out her annoyance was. Once her and Lucien (the immortal that hold the demon of daeth) got togther it was hot, steamy, and worth the wait. I found a lot of repetition after a while. I easily put this book down and forgot about it for 3 weeks, then decided to push to the end because I loved the first so much and I missed the stories. I am glad I finished it and I am jumping right into book three.

The Darkest Lie was sooooo annoying. I love this series, and I really had to force myself to continue reading this just so I could move forward with the others. Trying to read through Gideon's lies was: like sucking sweet candy (chewing sour grapes). The whole thing was writting just like the previous sentence. Plunging through the thick immortal plot required a lot of patience. I loved the relationship that built between Scarlet and Gideon, but honestly I felt like it was dragged on and did not pick up til then very end. I found myself looking more forward to reading the other side plots.

You couldn't pry this book from my cold lifeless body. I found myself raging with the warriors, crying at their losses, and falling in love over and over despite their bitter turmoil with their inner demons which possess them.
Ashlyn is a girl with the unique ability to hear words that were spoken in a room, no matter when they had taken place. She begins this story searching for any help or relief from this curse which leads her to a fortress in Budapest rumored to hold angel or demons. Maddox is an immortal warrior doomed to carry the demon of Violence merged with his soul trapped and cursed in solitude within the fortress. Outside forces (Hunters) seek to trap the demons and rid the world of Violence, Disease, Wrath, etcthe brother warriors of Violence. Together Ashlyn and Maddox discover how much they really need one another.
The story was griping enough to keep me turning the pages (fast). I did not completely buy the subplot of this story (which carries to the next book I presume), but I didnt care. I loved being wrapped up with the passion between Maddox and Ashlyn. Foreplay yummie-ness, with a possessive glazed twist. Although I think I expected much more from the demon of Violence, and a much much darker path, I was ok with the gentle character decisions of Showalter. I cant wait for the next!

L-O-V-E-D it!!! Best book (#5) in the Lords of the Underworld series! Nobody could rip this book from my hands until I finished. Aeron keeper of Wrath was sexy and soooo consuming. I was hesitant when I first started this because of all the damn whimpering from Olivia over giving up her wings to be with Aeron, but it was soooo worth the read. Except the ending. Without giving up the juicey details, it felt very forced to give these characters a resolute finish for readers. I think I would have been happier if it ended in complete misery balling my eyes out crying and carrying me into a second book for these two. I could have easily read a part two for these two lovers. The way this book reads Aeron and Olivia could carry their own.

The plot just keeps getting thicker for these lords. I'm dying to see how this all turns out. The side stories with William are peeking my interest. Over all still a thumbs up.

Book three in the Lords of the Underworld series, I could not put it down. So romantic, and such a great conclusion from book one. Man did I love this book. It was so worth reading the others to make it to this one. I ripped through this so fast I had to read it again to really enjoy it. Love this series!!!

Sabin, Lord keeper of Doubt and the Harpy... I was excited to read this. It was a very fast paced read with a lot of action compared to some of the others in this series. I loved their relationship. I just wish there was a hell of a lot more of that steamy sex that went on. A litle more pleaseeeee....

COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN!!! Great read. This is the first in the Fever series and you can tell this book is laying the ground work down for something bigger. I was afraid i would get lost with the vocabulary but it was so well written I followed along well. Any fan of the Sookie stackhouse novels would appreacite this series. It has a very similar basis especially with refernces to 'spidey sense', and 'I'm just a bartender'...etc. While there lacks any romantic or sexual involvement there is plenty of tension between Mac & Jericho. And some short scenes with very descriptive sexual content with a fae. I can't wait to jump int othe next book!

A light quick, comical read. I have to admit, like another reviewer I feel embarrassed to have read this. It felt childish at times, and extremely repetitive, but I liked how fast it read. I just could not get over the image of the dragon character. I hated it. I couldn't recommend this for anything more than if you were sick in bed and had a fever and couldn't really concentrate but really wanted to read. This will do. Or TV Guide.
