I really liked and resonated with this book. This is a story of two women and how they dealt with sorrow and loss; Vivien in the early 1900s and Claire in 1961. It is told in an unusual way with beautiful writing and a lot of historical references. I enjoy books so much more when they veer away from cookie cutter writing.
