This book is a great Western adventure. A peace treaty ended the war trail for the Comanches of Texas. For Annie War Bear, a Comanche warrior woman it was disappointment. She has taken a path few women have walked. She is the daughter of a extraordinary white captive and a fierce Comanche warrior. Annie has been trained to fight with her hands, Her feet, her tomahawk and Colt revolver. Above all as a Spirited Indian Woman of the Old West she puts all of herself into the battle. Now she faces an extraordinary battle. After signing the treaty the Comanche male warriors can not fight, but Annie can and does. Comanche warrior Annie Singing Bear must represent her entire tribe by using her extraordinary fighting skills and possibly her life to avenge a young maiden who was brutally raped and murdered. Annie is an adventuress of the Old West, both from her white and Indian blood and she is determined to avenge her tribe and prove that she a Comanche woman is the greatest warrior of all. It is the brave men and women like Annie who won the West, and linked the Old and New West, by hard-work, adventure, Bravery and courage.
