While I enjoyed the author's writing style, and I appreciated the unique perspective of the voice of the murdered young girl, and I even liked all of the characters, the story itself left me cold. I didn't feel good about the ending resolution, sort of felt that it weakened toward the last 1/8 of the story. Because of this, I give it 2 1/2 stars.
