I enjoyed the book but I read A Thousand Suns first so I have to say that made more of an impression on me. I felt after after A Thousand Suns, I would never look at the news about Kabul in the same way again, I would be able to relate more to the terrible things that go on in that country.
I felt the The Kite Runner was more of a personal redemption book, some fact? Some fiction? I don't know...
