While this was not a bad love story, I don't believe it is a good one for teenagers to read even though it is very much like high school life, though sometimes a slight unrealistic too. I am sure many will like it, but I have a hard time with books that have loads of profanities throughout it and making sex acceptable before marriage (and in this case some characters with many people).

Things I enjoyed:
-Parental units who work at their relationship with their children even when it may have been strained for a time.
-Good friendships made and knowing that it is okay to open up about things you are going through with those who may care.
-A girl with determination who strives to continue in something she loves.
-The way the characters are portrayed really gives you a great picture of them and what they are like. I think this portion of th book was well written.
