Perfect chick lit book. Uplifting and refreshing. Great setting: rural Ireland. Great characters: gritty and real and you fall in love with them. Great story: Hanna returns to Ireland after her marriage falls apart in London, becomes the local librarian but is reclusive, ends up teaming up with an old nun, a grouchy homebuilder, and some of the young people in town to save the local library and improve things for the entire community. In the process she learns more about herself, finds her backbone, and becomes happier with her life. Loved the people in this town and how they come together to form a real community.
