I had great expectations of this book from the reviews that I had read. The book was supposed to be hilarious and witty. However, I felt like I was reading someone's whiny diary. She spends a great deal of time complaining about her husband and hovering over her only child. A few parts are funny or thoughtful, but for the most part she just goes on and on about how she has to prepare catastrophe plans for every possible event that might happen and how she doesn't cook. She seems like a bored, unhappy wife and mother that needs to get a job or hobby outside the home.
