This book was on the table at a B&B we stayed at recently in Lancaster County, PA. It was so entrancing and enticing I could barely put it down and wanted to take it with me. I almost asked the owner if I could buy it, but thought others would want to read it as well. Not only has fabulous photos but recipes, folklore, the etymology of certain words and things we take for granted, and great ideas of ways to make your life simpler and more "wholesome"(?) for lack of a better word. Even though I never will, I really wanted to take up beekeeping immediately!
