Imagine my surprise to find that this story was set a hundred years ago. Isaac Bell, lead investigator for the Van Dorn Detective Agency, finds that his investigation of a potential suicide leads to a major spy case against the United States Navy.
This story, written by Clive Cussler and Justin Scott, is an enjoyable 12+ hours, read by Scott Brick. We follow sabotage and foiled plots from New York to San Francisco and back. We follow a variety of characters from high society down to the lowest street urchins.
I look forward to hearing other Isaac Bell adventures including "The Chase" and "The Wrecker". And you should enjoy this unabridged reading as well.
