Four stars from me as well. This is a readable and thought-provoking book set in the south in 1964. A motherless white girl, Lily Owens, has been raise by a black caregiver who sells honey from the bee hives she tends. The racism they encounter and the search for Lily's mother's past are the core subjects of the book. It is well worth your time to read this one.
