I saw this book listed in the Oprah Magazine, in the "What to Read" section. I love the paranormal and I knew that if it was recommended in that mag, it must be good!
This was a weird book. Its busted up where each character has a chapter and it goes back and forth like that. Its meant to help you get to know each person and understand their story. This confused me and was hard to keep up with who was who throughout the whole thing. However, the writing skill of the author and her intelligence and bit of philosophy coming out in the story kept me going till the end. The book had great insight and described life and death perfectly.
I do recommend this to anyone as it should speak to all of us.
In the end what I took away from the book was not to take advantage of life, of situations or the people we love, strangers, the houses we live or lived in and the rooms they hold/held...
