What a cast of characters : Thomas Edison, D.W. Griffith, Mary Pickford and The Black Hand (Mafia); along with silent films, the "casting couch" and voice recordings on cylinders. But my overall favorite item in the book was the cannolis. Not the pale imitation you get at a supermarket, but real ones from an Italian bakery. Alas, we don't have one in my town.

My apologies to the members who have this WLed, but my copy needs to go back to the county library.
