One of my favorite books of all time. I will remember the passion of the characters, the culture and political setting in Afghanistan, the authors great descriptive style, the lessons that the power of guilt and shame can have for a lifetime and always the power that we have to turn that around. I also saw the movie, but don't bother.
What a disappointment!
