What an original idea for a story! This is a short story, but it packs a wallop. I've always admired F. Scott Fitzgerald, and this story shows him at his best. I loved the way Fitzgerald explains aging: "She went out socially with him, but without enthusiasm, devoured already by that eternal inertia which comes to live with each of us one day and stays with us to the end."

Benjamin Button is an emotionally moving story about a man who never fits in. He is out of kilter with the rest of humanity, but makes the best of it he can. What a sad story.
