Leisurely, pleasant, low heat tale of the growing relationship of Kai Ramsay, the new laird of an imaginary northern Scotland island called Thorsay, and Signy, a local artist and fixer who seems destined for him. Secondary romance between Broc and Sophie, a like artist in London. Much space given to a tour of the islands. Nothing very much happens but it's a lowkey, pleasant read.
