An adorable first book in an equally adorable series. The Bewitching Mysteries remind me of the Sookie Stackhouse and Betsy Taylor series with their first person narrations and their quirky heroines, but Alt has kept things much lighter.

This is an easy and quick read series, but not one for those very interested in witchcraft. It is not the main focus of the novels.
