I love the Brown and de Luca books. Her Wings of the Night series is great, I've read every one and probably gave at least four stars for each . But I really think this series is better. It could be because it's about the same people in every book, or maybe the animals, because I think I like them better than the characters, but they're just awesome. If those of you have to have paranormal twist, it also has that. Lots of suspense and action, too.
