Can't remember the first story, but the second Upon the Storm by Justine Davis is one of my all time favorites! It's the story of an actor and a photographer who get stranded together during a storm. Once they are rescued she leaves the actor because she knows all about his reputation (it isn't good...thinks poster boy for the cover of US Weekly)! He searches for her and finally finds her several years later...only she has a secret that she's been keeping all these years. I'm not going to go into specifics since I don't want to spoil the story, although I supose the title of the collection is rather self explanatory. For me this was a quick and enjoyable read, a hero who actually said what was on his mind without worrying about appearing vulnerable to the heroine. This book has long had a spot on my keeper pile!
