Keeper â Morphid Chronicles â by Ingrid Seymour

This book had a little bit for everyone. A storyline with plenty of twists and turns, a love triangle, characters to love and those to hate.
The storyline kept my interest. Action packed throughout and I didn't want to put it down ⦠I even stayed up to finish the last few chapters to find out how the story would end. It does come to conclusion, no cliffhanger, although it goes straight into the next book Ripper.
I liked all the characters, except Sam's Integral/Companion Ashby⦠Just didn't like him much, at least not for her, just too uppity, just to 'upper crust'. Didn't seem like the type of guy she'd pick if her Morphid blood didn't dictate things. You'll have to read to see if free will wins out or if fate and destiny is all there is. All the characters are well thought out, believable and great snarky, humorous parts.
It's a read for any age group, young or old ⦠I'm an older reader and have taken to reading mostly YA books ⦠mostly because the characters and storylines are more developed since the authors don't have to worry about stuffing hot love scenes in there. There are some kissing in this one, but it's PG-13 rated.
