Who Let the Dog Out? (Andy Carpenter, Bk 13)

It takes about 1/3 of the book for the opening clues to begin to make sense. It takes a dog to get Andy Carpenter to emerge from retirement to go to bat for a legal client. And it takes the reader about 10 minutes to figure out this is going to be fun. Make no mistake, each book is standalone. However, I suggest that you binge-read (like I did) through the first few books quickly.

Then you will need to pace yourself because David Rosenfelt is spending more time caring for his golden retrievers than writing books. He only seems to be releasing a book per year. Try to get a copy of Grover Gardener reading; he is perfect in every way. The sarcasm rolls off Gardener's lips. My husband started listening because he heard me howling with laughter at the Andy Carpenter books via Grover Gardener.

My problem is: What do I do after I finish the two nonfiction and two Andy Carpenter books I have remaining? Bummer.
