If I were to compare this book in quality and depth to any other, it would be Sebolds The Lovely Bones. This book was amazing and I had to go out and buy more of her books after I read it. I had never even heard of her before this. She is an amazing writer and this is the kind of book you will stay up through the night for. She takes you on a ride I think every reader should experience at least once, and it leaves you wondering about your own life and family because this book is based on a true story.
