If you all know me then you will remember that I am not a big fan of Amish books. I have found a few authors that I will read who make things interesting enough that I will read one. When I heard about this one I thought the plot sounded quite imaginative and different from many of the same old plots you get with Amish stories. So I decided to go ahead with reviewing it. In a way I wish I hadn't because I hate doing reviews like this, but I also want to let others know what I thought at the same time.

The book itself was not bad. The characters were okay and the plot was just okay. My main problem was getting into it. It moves very slow and there really isn't a lot to it. You pretty much know what is going to happen and who is going to fall in love with who and it makes for a slow book. I am one who likes action and mystery but it doesn't have to be that way, so long as it grabs you and keeps your attention. Sadly I felt this one lacked in that area. I pushed myself to read through it but unless you like this type of novel, I would not pick this one up.
