"A Sprig of Blossomed Thorn" is the second installment in the Wisteria Tearoom series. I've loved both this book and the first one. This one is set just a few weeks after the opening of Ellen Rosing's Wisteria Tea Room in Santa Fe. Maria Garcia, a very prominent member of the Hispanic community in Santa Fe, dies while having her afternoon tea alone at the Tea Room. initially, the police want to call the death a heart attack, but an autopsy reveals that she was poisoned. Very interesting how the author weaves together the murder mystery along with lots of information about the local Rose Society. Looking forward to Book Three.
