I had high hopes for this, an interesting subject, about which little has been mentioned.But after over a week of trying to get into it, I did something I don't normally do. I gave up on it. The style was just not working for me, which was disappointing. I'd like to read more about the Irish slaves, but this book just couldn't do it.
