This book was even more enjoyable than the first in the series.I hadn't really believed this was a real group of people, German immigrants who lived in Iowa in the early 1900's, so was surprised to see that there is even a village to visit now and learn more about these devout Christian believers. I enjoyed the humor when Grandmother had her Alzheimer's "episodes".
