Honestly, I'd re-title this Game of Straight-Up Boredom. I skimmed to see if my suspicions about whodunnit were correct.

Yep, they were. I thought it was rather predictable.

I can't recommend it. It's an excellent idea that was very poorly executed and I could barely keep my eyes open. The plot unfolding through scrabble games, and the unlikely relationship between Jane Weld and Ada Varick were clever in theory, but the narrative wasn't even remotely engaging enough to make this 250-page read worthwhile.

Game of Secrets was a solid D for me.
