After Tori and her Dad (always called Mr. Heslin?) reach the lake home and her brother is already there and she finds the body of a young girl in the lake (why are her and her Dad on the lake in freezing weather?)

The story becomes draggy boring and just predictible that I finally skipped to the back and got the whole story in just the last few chapters

I'm sure others will love this series but if the writing is like this book I won't read more
