I love this author. Even though this is not one of her best, it was still quite enjoyable. Since she often chooses Nantucket as a setting, the Berkshires was a pleasant surprise. The novel focuses on three females who form a lasting friendship while individually sorting themselves out. Like many of her books, there is some marital tension, some lover's anguish, and some friendship issues to sort out but things have a way of working out.
