Nessa is still adapting to her new body even as she still mourns for the love that she lost centuries prior, the emotional trauma that she still suffers from continues to chip away at her fragile control. Dominic is a vampire who has had ever more intense dreams of a woman that he has never met but he feels a mysterious attraction and an overwhelming desire to find her. The two have to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles before they can address their past but there are many other players in the dangerous struggle that involves several paranormal entities who are battling for supremacy. Enjoyable read.
