Amish Wilderness Survival by Mary Alford is a gripping story. I always enjoy Mary Alford's twisty romantic suspense novels. Fletcher Shetler and Leora Mast find themselves fighting to stay alive in the Kootenai National Forest. The suspense and action start at the beginning, and it does not let up. The story is well-written with good characters. I enjoyed getting to know Fletcher and Leora. I loved Molly, Ethan's dog. She is one smart cookie. I thought the author captured the beauty of the forest as well as its vastness. The forest can also be a scary place when you are being hunted. Mary Alford combined suspense, mystery, action, romance, and faith into one compelling story. I stayed up late to finish Amish Wilderness Survival. Amish Wilderness Survival is a riveting tale with an absent brother, a caring sister, ruthless killers, a vast forest, a devoted dog, a brave friend, and a loving Lord.
