A must-have for Twain fans. A Murder, A Mystery & A Marraige was originally written in 1876, composed as part of a "blindfold novelette" that Twain planned to launch as part of a competition for other great writers of the day. The competition never took place, and Twain's story has only recently been rediscovered.
Almost more interesting that the story itself is the forward and afterward, with details about the "blind novelette" plan, analysis of this book and it's relationship to Twain's other books (especially Huck Finn since this story was written while Twain took a break from writing Huck Finn) and Twain's relationship and thoughts about other famous authors from his time period.
