Not really my cup of tea but it might be yours. "Fred is a mermaid...
Fred is not blonde...not buxom...not perky...in fact she can be downright cranky. She works at the New England Aquarium..[where] she gets involved in something fishy...a gorgeous marine biologist arrives to help her. So does her mer-person ruler, the High Prince of the Black Sea. You'd think it would be easy for a mermaid to get to the bottom of things. Think again!"
It's fun, silly and a really fast read by the author of the "Undead and Upopular [etc.,]" series.
