Prosecutor Vicki Allegretti is drawn into a case after meeting with a confidential informant - and a cop was gunned down in front of her. Deeper and deeper she is pulled along the twists and turns as she tries to make sense of it all (and you along with her). Face paced thriller, witty female lawyer, and a good dose of wit/humor = enjoyable read.
