Never read any of the author's books. Picked this one up as it was on the free shelf of the local library. I seldom give up on a book but I was close to doing so with this one. It plodded along for about 100 pages. It's the story of three men, now in their mid-60s, who became best pals during their days at a private college in New England. The chapters alternate among the three characters (Lincoln, Teddy, and Mickey) and goes back in time to when the three were college students. The book alternates between the past and present. It started to get interesting around page 100 when the reader learns that Jacy, the female friend of all the guys from their college days, had disappeared after spending one last weekend with them way back when. However, I thought the story about Jacy's disappearance and what happened afterward was completely ridiculous.
