

Nikki is a disappointment to her Punjabi parents, in school and employment and relationships. She is less traditional than they are and is struggling to find her purpose. When she stumbles into a job teaching creative writing, the students soon a providing more creativity than writing.
As these widows, ignored by society and the community, find their voices, how will the community, not known for tolerance, respond?
It is a fun story but does illustrate the real differences in generations and cultures.
As serious as the subject matter can be, it was a very enjoyable story with incredibly relatable characters.
