Very interesting book. Detailed step by step of the seven sacred rites for the Ogala Sioux. Enough detail you can actually preform the rites. I really enjoyed the book and history. Joseph Brown was impartial allowing the reader to have their own impressions and thoughts. I came away with a better understanding of how the early inhabitants of our land understood and revered the land and the Great Spirit.
