The McBride sisters. Their abusive father killed their mother and then himself in front of the three. The youngest Tessa was adopted. The other two were in foster care. The cop that was in charge of negotiations kept up with the oldest two (Molly and Lena). Lena married Dr. Longworth. She finally came to love him but they couldn't have kids because of her permiscuity when she was a teen. Molly was a nun who worked with Dr. Longworth and was raped one night. She gave her baby to her sister and her husband to raise. Tessa came to town to be an actress but got caught up with a dirty cop and drugs. Molly has loved Dr. longsworth forever and finally gave up her vocation after her sister was killed by a drunk driver. The cop that was always the closest thing to a father to the two girls fell in love with Longworths Aunt and his son was trying to help Tessa out of her jam.
