Child's writing is always good. Even though his forward said that's these stories were written over time, I was disappointed that there wasn't at least one Reacher story contained within. None of the stories were really memorable. Some were disappointing, telegraphing the ending during the plot build up. Only a couple really surprised me. Overall, it was a decent enough read. Five stars for style, three for content.
This is a book of short stories and I was not impressed. It was hard to differentiate from one story to the next. The stories weren't that good in my opinion and were not memorable. Unless you're paying close attention, the stories seemed to run into one another. The pause between the stories in the audiobook is hard to hear. Not a good read for me.
